Following on from the brilliant ‘One More Reason’, which was co-produced by young talent Tom Misch, Marie Dahlstrøm is back with ‘Mine’ - the latest cut from her forthcoming EP. The most recent in a string of brilliant female singers hailing from Denmark, Dahlstrøm's vocals are sharp, pointed and crystal clear. They lend themselves to this track’s particular flavour of R&B perfectly, with laid-back, un-quantised drums creating a distinctly nineties feel. This, combined with the closely harmonised vocals, creates an overall effect of reassuring familiarity which compliments the overall warmth of the track. ‘Mine’ is co-produced by fellow Dane Pelle Blarke – watch out for her full EP which is due to drop around November 25^th. - HM
